South Stack Studios is thrilled to come onboard as co-Executive Producers to support "Hanging By a Wire", officially selected in the Competition category at Sundance 2026.

A documentary action film from award-winning director Mohammed Ali Naqvi (Turning Point, Shame) and Producer Bilal Sami, together with Universal, EverWonder Studios, and Mindhouse — recounts the gripping 15-hour rescue of eight children and two adults left dangling 900 feet above a mountain pass in northwest Pakistan after their cable car snapped in August 2023. Featuring never-before-seen footage and first-hand accounts from survivors and rescuers, the film captures the helicopters, ziplines, and heroism that transfixed the world.
