Hanging by a Wire
South Stack Studios celebrates the Sundance Film Festival premiere of Hanging by a Wire, a powerful documentary selected in competition at one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals.
Director: Mo Naqvi, Producer: Bilal Sami
Story: A routine school commute turns terrifying when a cable car’s wire snaps, leaving eight passengers — including six schoolboys — dangling 900 feet above a ravine in the remote Himalayan foothills. With no margin for error and a cable that could fail at any moment, an unlikely group of rescuers must improvise under intense public scrutiny, racing against an invisible clock before disaster strikes live on television.
